Finally microsoft put Cross-connect for WP8 on the marketplace. You can see and download it by clicking here
Unfortuneately I am still struggeling to get Cross connect WP7 back on the marketplace. A week ago I got a version out but it didn’t work at all! I was of course forced to remove it. Now the version I know works is still going through the microsoft submission process. Hopefully in one more week it will be out.
It’s released now. You can search for it in the Windows Store but your best chance at finding it is to click on this link and then click “Show in Windows Store”
Due to Micorsoft’s reorganization of thier Windows Phone 7 (WP7) App distribution system, Cross-connect stopped being available in the “Marketplace”. Now I have finally figured out the new system and re-submitted Cross-connect to the Marketplace. It will come in about a week.
But that is only the beginning. I have submitted a release for Windows Phone 8 (WP8) as well!!! There is nothing new in the windows 8 version. Most will find it exactly like the WP7 version although there are some technical differences. Again it will be available in about a week.
Lastly and most importantly, I have completely rewritten Cross-connect to work on Windows 8 also called “Metro” or “Windows Store App”. It is a beautiful program and has improved dramatically on the user interface but users will still recognize it as being the same Cross-connect with all the same features. Since windows 8 is for full size screens there is a lot more space for the user interface making it a lot funner to work with. Again it will be available in about a week but only if you have windows 8 installed in your pc or tablet.
